Dorothy utilized the amazing space of the Carlton Hotel and Caravan Stylist Studio to film her new fashion segment on EHow.com. While lights and cameras were being setup Dorothy had time to relax and enjoy having hair, makeup and nails done for her on camera video shoot. For Dorothy’s hair it was a breeze styling such thick long locks especially when using Salon Grafix products. We started off with a light spritzing of Healthy Hair Nutrition Restyler to give great pallet to start from and protect her hair from heat. Using a flat iron to the top root portion of her hair and a large barrel-curling rod to the lower strands of her hair. My new favorite hot styling tools are by Babyliss. Once the hot tools were done a generous dose of Shaping Hair Spray was used to set and hold the curls. Dorothy’s hair was then tussled with a large toothcomb and a bit of backcombing done to the roots near the crown. Adding just a light spraying of Freezing Hair Spray to hold everything perfectly in place and voila hair is camera ready.
Makeup was a naturally smoky eye bronzed pink cheeks and a pinkish nude lip. POP Makeup was used to create her entire look. Starting off with a mix of both shades of the Beam Base Primer for that perfect glow. On Dorothy’s eyes we want with POP Portfolio in the bronzed shades and a liberal application of Peek Performance Mascara. Checks were a beautiful mix of the Butterfly Bronze Blush and lips were stained with Stain Stay in Petal Pout and topped with Aqua Lacquer in Caramel. It didn’t take much to make this star shine.
