We had the honor of meeting the amazing actress, Elisabeth Rohm when she came to visit us at the Carlton Hotel to pick out some dresses for some of her interviews. Of course, at Caravan Stylist Studio we love dressing actresses in beautiful clothes but we had the opportunity to hear a little bit about Elisabeth’s book, Baby Steps: Having the Child I Always Wanted (Just Not as I Expected), which she was in town to build awareness. She also was very kind and gave us a copy.
We love learning about our guests and this book and Elisabeth’s story was so inspiring – as women this is something very close to our hearts.
A little bit of a background about the book :
When Elisabeth Rohm started blogging about her family for People.com, she had no idea how many women would respond to her stories about struggling with infertility. Now the actress best known for her role on Law and Order shares what she hasn’t yet: the full story of how in-vitro fertilization allowed her to have a child, how talking about infertility helped her cope with it, and how her desire for a baby and the difficult path that led to one taught her about herself and made her into the woman she was meant to be.
Every woman should own this book especially if you are looking to have a child – it has very important facts and inspiring content – You can purchase the book here :http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Steps-Having-Always-Expected/dp/0738216631
We give you here a little bit of what Elisabeth wore during her week in NYC and also some clips from the interviews – they all have amazing information so you should check them out !

We thank Elisabeth for sharing time with us. I think if I was one of the designers she wore I would be so proud not only because she looked amazing in the dresses but because of her confidence and the value she is adding to the female community – I would be so honored for her to wear one of my dresses. Anyone who helps others is doing such a service and she is helping so many women by telling her story and giving great advice.
