Caravan Stylist Studio teamed up with the new hit film G.B.F. (Gay Best Friend), Salon Grafix, and King with Kimatherapy.com to host an event for the after party of G.B.F. the movie screened at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Darren Stein returns for another comic high school clique culture, backed by a screenplay full of whip smart one-liners from first-time writer George Northy and memorable cameo appearances by Megan Mullally, Natasha Lyonne, Jonathan Silverman and Rebecca Gayheart.
GBF tells the story of two closeted best friends, Tanner (Michael J. Willett, United States of Tara) and Brent (Paul Iacono, The Hard Times of R.J. Berger). Brent longs for the spotlight and has a plan that will make him the most popular kid in school. He believes that coming out will make him instantly popular, as the newest must-have teen girl “accessory”: The G.B.F. Tanner on the other hand, would rather fly under the radar and graduate from high school without ever being noticed.
Caravan Stylist Studio and photographer King set the stage for an evening prom filled fun for the official after party of G.B.F. at Studio 21. G.B.F had its first onscreen viewing at the Tribeca Film Festival. Once the guests entered the party the theme was all prom all the time that included their very own prom pictures. The fun never stopped with everyone glamming up with a little extra glamour from Salon Grafix and don’t forget some prom props to pose with.
