KiraKira the line of New York made jewelry the keeps you looking like the stars. KiraKira began in 2007 designer and founder Suz Somersall studied jewelry and metalsmithing in Italy and Japan. Suz moved to NYC where she partnered with Whitney Blake to grow the company into what it is today.
Caravan Stylist Studio had the pleasure of shooting KiraKira’s look book. We had a great time working with a wonderful crew to create amazing pictures for KiraKira. The model had three different hair and makeup looks and so many fun outfit changes.
First we started with painting the models nails a fun shade of light almost white blue polish called Blu by Zoya Nail Polish.
For the first look we went with a fun to top bun that was deconstructed and full. First I gave the hair a good spray of Salon Grafix Restyler before curling the hair with Babyliss Pro curling iron once the curls cooled the hair was gathered to the top of her head and put into a very high top ponytail. Then taking small sections of the hair and wrapping it loosely around the ponytail and pinning it with bobbypins, once all the hair was formed to the perfect top bun a finishing spray of Salon Grafix High Gloss Hair Spray was all it needed to be picture ready. For her makeup in this look we went with a light pink shadow from POP Portfolio by POP and to give it a little depth a bronze shadow was added to the crease of the eye a bit of black pencil liner to the upper lash line and a bit of the amazing Peak Performance mascara by POP. For cheeks it was Butterfly Bronzer and lips were a pink stain with pink gloss added to give it that extra shine.
On this look we went with a fantastic loose side fishtail braid keeping the front of the hair loose and natural. We first used Salon Grafix Moose to make sure the braid kept its hold without looking like there is product in it. Once the braid was done a light misting of Shaping Hair Spray to finish the look. For the models makeup it was very clean and natural keeping everything very minimal the eyes were done with a matte shade of cream and taupe smudging into the lash line a bit of brown shadow with POP Lid Nude. Add a little bit of bronzer to the cheeks and a nude lip and she is ready to go.
